The North Dakota Psychological Association (NDPA) offers a variety of ways to engage with and support the profession. Whether you're passionate about shaping our annual conference, sharing your expertise through continuing education, or advocating for psychology at the legislative level, there’s a place for you!

  • Conference Planning – Help organize our annual event and bring top-tier learning opportunities to our members.
  • Submit a Presentation Abstract – Share your knowledge at an upcoming continuing education event. Email Sky Overbo at sky.overbo@und.edu for details.
  • Monthly Book Club – Join our continuing education book discussions to stay current and earn CE credits. More information can be found on our facebook page.
  • Legislative Advocacy – Support policies that advance psychology and mental health care in North Dakota.

APA Council Representative

The Council of Representatives is the legislative body of APA and has full power and authority over the affairs and funds of the association within the limitations set by the certificate of incorporation and the Bylaws, including the power to review, upon its own initiative, the actions of any board, committee, division or affiliated organization.

Council is composed of 178 representatives of divisions, representatives of state, provincial and territorial psychological associations (SPTAs) and the members of the Board of Directors.
